Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with physical examinations and perform basic medical procedures
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Provide patient education on various healthcare topics
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures in the ICU

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical records management, including ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding
- Experience in providing care in an ICU setting
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for sterile procedures
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assess patients' conditions
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols
- Experience in home care settings is a plus
